We did find that parking was a challenge on a Saturday night.New Haven is a city in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. Next time I come here I’ll probably get that if a special doesn’t tempt my pallet.

For dinner I had the swordfish, it was good, not the best I ever had. I thought it was delicious, packed with clams, bacon and potatoes. This is not the traditional New England chowder that most people are used to, it was not as thick as New England, but thicker than Rhode Island chowder, it was somewhere in between. Worth all the calories!! To start I had the clam chowder. This makes it a sweet/salty combination that cannot be beat. Make sure you use the butter and black salt it comes with. It was hot from the oven, crusty on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. Usually I don’t eat the bread, however I could not resist. Our server was friendly, attentive and was able to keep up with our husbands’ quick wit. If it was a nicer night I would have liked to sit out on the patio overlooking the water. bad at all we were able to hold a conversation without any issues. We were seated in the corner near the bar. So glad we finally got the chance to dine here with them, so worth the wait. We recently came here with some friends who rave about this place.
